Day Sixteen


Today was mostly spent working on setting up gearbox plates to be run on the Haas. We changed our plans on how we are going to hold the work down whilst machining them, and are now using a fixture plate. We got stalled on prepping the fixture plate until tomorrow so we just did more prep and got all of the holes to hold the part down onto the fixture plate drilled today.


The elevator has proved challenging to package and mount inside the robot with out sacrificing any reach. The gear ratio was figured out today, we came to a solution on what packaging should work, in our minds at least, lets see if it works in CAD.
