The elevator got a minor modification today, two small (.1″) slots were added to the bottom of the elevator’s second stag bracing. We had observed a small gap between the bearings and the stage zero’s wall. This slot took out the gap and any play, resulting in a super smoother elevator. Manufacturing made some the hubs that attach the intake hex shaft to the PVC roller today. The intake geometry got further refined to use a single pivot point. Today was a slow day as we had low student turn out. The practice bot is starting to look like a robot, but it has a long way to go in order to the play game starting on March 6th. I wrote a to do list on the white board, and the majority of our work is still held up in CAD.
